The caterpillar is green and develops in a silky web, hanging mostly from Rosaceae and other broad-leaved trees. The adult of the species is nocturnal in June and July.
It is easily observed at the “Rocher Brûlé” (P 424).

Die grüne Raupe entwickelt sich in einem seidigen Gespinst, insbesondere an Rosengewächsen und anderen Laubbäumen. Der nachtaktive Falter fliegt von Juni bis Juli.
